Cancellation and Refund Terms and Conditions - A&E-bikehome
1. Cancellation and Refund
- Reservations can be cancelled at least 24 hours before the start of the rental. Any deposit paid will be fully refunded.
- In case of cancellation within 24 hours of the event, an amount equal to 50% of the order value will be charged.
- The modification of the order reservation by the Customer is permitted at any time without any charge.
- A&E-Bikehome reserves the right to cancel and/or terminate the order(s), guaranteeing a full refund to the customer of the amount paid, if it deems it appropriate to protect the safety of its assets and its employees or collaborators.
2. Early Return Refund
- No refund is provided in case of early return.
3. Refund for Malfunction or Technical Problems
- A&E-Bikehome is not required in any case to refund the customer the cost of the reservation in the event of anomalies resulting from mechanical and/or electronic problems with the rented bicycles, as it is a service provider and not a manufacturer of the vehicles used.
- In the event that the anomalies reported by the Customer prevent the use of the vehicle and are found by A&E-Bikehome staff following the report, the right is reserved to issue a voucher for the use of a service of equal value or to apply a discount on subsequent orders. In the event of technical problems not attributable to the Customer, A&E-bikehome will replace the vehicle.
4. Weather Conditions
- The rental takes place regularly even in case of bad weather.
- Refunds for adverse weather conditions are only granted in the event of extreme situations (e.g. official weather warnings).
5. Procedure for Requesting a Refund
- To request a refund, the customer must contact A&E-bikehome at a.ebikehome@gmail.com within 48 hours of the end of the rental date, providing the reason and attaching the documentation available to support the request (photos, videos, etc.).
- Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of approval confirmation.
